Title: Someone Call The Ambulance | download
Editor: aurora-knight
Rating: R
Characters/Pairing: Loki-centric with Thor/Loki overtones
Warnings: I think "Loki" and "Avengers" are sufficient
Spoilers: None
Disclaimer: I did not write or produce any of the songs on this playlist. Cover art is my own design, with screencaps belonging to Marvel Studios.
Notes: This was supposed to be just a playlist full of pimp songs. Seriously. Then Hiddleston mentioned in an interview that "Archangel" by Burial had been his prep song for filming during The Avengers, so I went and listened to it and whooops feelings happened. I did my best to save most of those for another fanmix, though, and tried to keep this one as strictly badass!Loki as possible.

Writer's Block: International Skeptics Day

What are you skeptical about? (religion, ghosts, Toddlers and Tiaras, etc.)

I'm skeptical of skeptics who use circular logic to back their claims. ("Ghosts can't be real because they don't exist.")

Do you keep your LiveJournal a secret from someone?

View 1206 Answers

This journal actually started out as a second, secret account so that I could use it for fandom purposes without any of my high school friends knowing just how weird I was. When I went to university and acquired Real Life friends who took my interest in slash and such things in stride, I made this my main account and stopped feeling awkward about letting people see it. My high school friends still don't know about it, though.

If you woke up surrounded by doctors who told you that you'd been in a medical experiment since birth and that your entire life had been a dream, how do you think you'd react?

Probably tell the doctors to screw themselves and then bust out of the facility River Tam-style. </I may or may not have just re-watched Serenity.>

Oh, HTP

Me: I feel so uneducated when it comes to the [Shakespearean] comedies. HTP never does them!
Roommate: Yes we do. We just...turn them into tragedies. And set them in Japan.

*sigh* Yep. Good times. Or, you know, something.

Is there a specific song or band that makes you yearn for the past?

Well, Queen songs in general make me think of when I first got into Good Omens fandom and then went to London for the first time since reading it and turned into a pile of goo whenever I saw something even remotely connected to the story. Good times.

Which returning TV show are you most excited to see again? Which shows from last season are you going to miss? Are there any new shows that look promising?

Do you have good friends from other countries that you've met on LiveJournal? Have you ever met them in person? If not, do you think you ever will?

I do. It's one of the things I love about online fandom. I can't say if it will ever happen, but I would certainly like to meet them in person one day.

[info]ghostangel has pointed out a new post to Melissa Anelli's blog on the Harry, A History website, where we finally have some details from J.K. Rowling about Grindelwald's feelings for Dumbledore.

The response I posted to [info]grindeldore is beneath the cut.
